Construction Details:

I lost weight while making this costume, it was so stressful, lol. Even looking back at the pattern pieces now Im not even sure how I did it. I drafted most of the pieces myself with much trial and error and many mockups. This also includes some of the first from scratch props that I've ever made. I am super pleased with how it all turned out.

Personal Thoughts:

Hera has meant a LOT to me over the years. She's a rebel leader, pilot of her own ship, and a strong female lead character. Most Twi'leks end up in slavery but not Hera. She's master of her own fate.
