Construction Details:

Costume took quite a lot of planning for the right construction techniques to be applied.



Specific attention was paid to make the 7 curls the skirt had, the slight lifts in shaping and to keep the waist silhouette clean for an attractive shape. A number of mocks were made and special care was taken to have the costume be only lined at the bust to be closer to the character shaping.



The applique took forever as the pvc was saddle pvc. We wanted the silver grey with a slight change in colours and it took forever to cut out from the custom stencil made.



The gloves were also manually made.



Weapons were took extra time and attention to make as well. Particular attention was paid to scale to allow for a good representation next to me when I was in heels.



Boots were custom built, it requires to be remade however as we miscalculated and could use with another 4 to 6 inches for poses.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a hyper challenging costume, on so many levels
