Construction Details:

Colour-changing/flipping sequins are quite difficult to work with to make sure they show the right colour at the right time while sewing. They're also heavy as hell and the jacket probably weighs close to 6 lbs. Jacket is lined with fuchsia polyester lining and the cuffs/collar are from pre-made rib knit pieces.

Personal Thoughts:

As soon as I saw the sequin Gucci bomber jacket from the DNA teaser video I knew I had to make my own version. I also knew that I would need to up the extra factor so I used colour-changing sequins so the red turns to gold, gold turns to red and teal turns to purple.
