Construction Details:

I made this when I was still learning a lot about sewing so looking back I wish I had done a few things differently. I wanted to go with a goldenrod color rather than just flat yellow. The only fabric I cold find in goldenrod was a knit. It doesn't have the structure I want, but I might be able to fix it. I used simplicity pattern 2508 for the coat. My hat was an Easter bucket that I trimmed down and covered in fabric.

Personal Thoughts:

At first I wasn't sold on Millia's new design. But eventually it won me over.
