Construction Details:

I made a tracksuit jumper-dress out of premier red velvet from JoAnn Fabrics and added white poplin accents with interfacing for the trims. The dress is also lined and closes in the back with an invisible zipper. I made the ears using tan anti-pill fleece, metallic turquoise stretch fabric and interface. I added a satin-stitch detail to the ears and the "New Leaf" logo on the dress. The big squirrel tail is also made out of anti-pill fleece, felt, and poly-stuffing. I also added a pouch inside the tail so it can hold my 3DS XL. The tail hangs from my shoulders like a backpack and Velcros to the bottom of my dress.
