Construction Details:

The fabric is a matte stretch vinyl purchased from Spandex House in NYC. The metal is foam primed with Plastidip and painted with spray paint. A stretch polyester cotton blend was used for his sweater which I used a zigzag stitch to give it a sweater look. His leather grieves and straps were used craft foam painted and distressed with acrylic and fabric paint.
His Monado was created with insulation board, craft foam, PVC tubing, resin, paper mache, gesso, and enamel paint. Both the Monado and the Monado II were created by carving it out of the insulation board, paper mache'ing with resin, primed with gesso, sanded, and painted. The PVC tubes were stained blue with acetone and dye then glued on.

Personal Thoughts:

Shulk was a dream cosplay after I played Xenoblade Chronicles. I learned a lot over the 3 months I made him, including lot about prop making and sewing different materials

Styling Notes

No styling was performed. Only the bangs needed parting.
