Construction Details:

Pleating! Lots of pleats, no box pleats though. The pants alone took around 50(?) hours to complete. The shirt was the easiest, being done in almost two hours. The sides of the kimono train and the train itself are completely painted by hand. The bass is actually something I use on a daily basis!
Kimono train is made of silk wool, the sleeve is a silk charmuse, and there's an elastic type fabric for the top as well. I can't remember what material the pants are.

Personal Thoughts:

I had to do a costume for my favorite vocaloid song, especially because it looked like it was going to be so much fun to wear. It was a difficult construction though, hakama pants are large and I tried to get that effect, but it was difficult.
