About this Costume
Construction Details:
The short's details I found white fabric that we used to clean and drew out the detail in pencil and sew it. To make it not flat I added more fabric and paper to stuff it. I added safety pins to attach it to my shorts. This took bout half and hour to make it the same size.

The boots were the second hardest part. I found the right color for the laces and tie them how the trainer did in the reference photo. I found the fabric paint that used for the pokemon hat and paste it on my boots. That process too a long time for it to dry and not stick to any paper. I put it on the sides and the bottom but learned the hard way that the sole bottom is a no when it comes to contact with carpet. So I cleaned it in the bottom scraping the paint off
the bottom of the boot and only putting paint where it is necessary.

The hardest was the armbands, I found ribbons that was close to the color around my house since my mom works for a clothing company. I sewed on to the arm band and that took a while and making sure that it was not too tight when I out them on. Since they stretch, sewing something to it tighten it. Not bad and you couldn't tell the bad sewing skill unless you looked closely.
Last year (2015) I when I found the fabric paint used on my hat, I decided to use the paint instead and it was more clean compared to sewing fabric on it. The band still had their stretch and it was easier to put them on and off. It took a while to line up the line of paint and making it straight.
Personal Thoughts:
I would say that this would be my first official cosplay I wore when I started cosplaying. This cosplay would be a cosplay closet.
I used a white tank top and the shorts I have and used them. I bought the hat from Etsy and the armbands and bag from Amazon. the bag in my opinion was the hardest to find that looked close to the shape and I would not be able to make one with the little sewing experience I have. Along with the combat boots, and socks that were purchased in 2015 for Anime California to go for the accuracy.

Since I wanted to dive in to cosplay, I realized that I probably spend alot more as I did if I bought the cosplay online. Well I learned from my first experience in cosplaying.

I try to find ways to use a cosplay such as this that uses everyday clothing and put it to use so I won't waist the money I used to complete it. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my boots even if I use the laces that come with it because of the pink paint on it.
This trainer is one of my favorites to cosplay. Not only is it comfy and comfortable to wear but I love it a lot and the fact that I can use my hair which is puffy like Touko. Ready to be a Pokemon Master!
