Construction Details:

We decided to go with Navy Casa satin, dark red Casa crepe, and black sequin fabric. The bodice is a simple princess seam from Simplicity Pattern #4070. The two-tier pleated circle skirts were calculated to have 10 pleats going all around the waist. Pleating the very small pleats were a challenge. ^^;;;
nWe added boning to the bodice to add more structure using Flex-boning from JoAnns. The black sequin was also used in hand-gathering the ruffles at the top of the bodice as well as for the belt. The gold stars and belt accessories were casted thanks to Nessa. The shoes are character shoes from a discount dance supply store.

Personal Thoughts:

I love these outfits! They were on my cosplay wish list even before we decided to make them for our 2016 Angel Hearts performance at Fanime Con. They remind me of our Live for Venus outfits using gold chain / rope and showing more leg.
