Construction Details:

It was mostly buying pieces and altering pieces I already had. The white shirt, tie, wig, and boots I already owned (I knew I had to find another purpose for those SNK boots). The vest was my Cheshire Cat Grell vest. I don't think I'll wear that version again, and I'd most likely remake the vest if I do. I handsewed all the gold trim and buttons during some down time at work. The pants I bought. I made the French sash out of spare cottons I had at home.

Personal Thoughts:

This was made as a really quick outfit to wear for BroadwayCon 2016. I saw the show during college, but it wasn't until the movie came out that I wanted to cosplay this character. It was in no way meant to be historically accurate or accurate to the show version. Unfortunately, the con happened during a super big blizzard in NY, so I wasn't able to go. I brought the outfit to Katsucon because I didn't want it to go to waste.
