Construction Details:

I already had 80% of the outfit on me (ie. jeans, t-shirt, boots and wig) so I really just had to make the jacket, which is the bulk of this outfit.

nI actually struggled quite a bit on the jacket. I altered my default top pattern to make this work and I also tried a lot of different things that didn't end up so well.. The small mistakes I did was not leaving even space for hemming and the panels once I replaced the base with black. This lead me to redoing the back panel.

nThe white shoulder details was what caused the most problems. I first tried to make it one panel and inlay into the base of the jacket but that didn't work. So I did it such that the trim around the should is bias tape but that didn't work because it didn't stick out to make it look like a separate piece from the sleeves so I had to redo that. It finally worked in the end!

nI then had issues attaching the sleeves so I had to make another panel to help attach the sleeves to the vest (it sort of became two jackets in a sense but not fully two jacket). It worked out in the end except I had to modify the sleeves a bit to make it fit to the armpit hole. lol Also because I did so, I adjust the length of the sleeve so it's a little on the shorter end but it's still doable. lol

nEverything else was simple and didn't lead me any problems. lol

Personal Thoughts:

I really like Chrono as a character and when he had a new outfit for the third season of Vanguard G and it was along the lines of something I like then I had to do it!! There's no other reason why I didn't want to cos him. lol

Styling Notes

I made the pink swirl a separate pieces that is on a stiff felt base. It clips onto the main wig no problem. The pink wefts (from Arda in baby pink) and the remaining red wefts of the original wig are glued on to make the required shape.
