Construction Details:

I was able to work on it briefly towards the end of 2015, but this has been a mix of learning a lot of new things and taking simple clothing patterns and trying new ways to make them interesting and fitting the art style.

The hardest part of this is probably that the everything that wasn't the shirt and shorts had to be hand-sewn- but everything needed painting for the right kind of textures.

Personal Thoughts:

Wanting to pay homage to one of my favorite games growing up, I'm taking a new character in Hyrule Warriors and using one of her costumes. Hopefully it will come with two different Kokiri spears by the time I'm done.

How was the wig colored?

Styling Notes

Because of the way that Nintendo colors some of the characters, I dip-dyed the roots and ends of the wig for the look it has. Then I re-set the fibers in the ponytail (also doing the signature twist/braid she has in the back)
