Construction Details:

A spandex dance leotard was my base, and also the main material for the waistband. All the puffy bits are stuffed with batting, and the skirt is a pleated circle skirt attached to the waistband. Bows were stuffed with batting and secured to the costume via snaps and the gem is half a clear ornament E6000'd onto the bow! Headpiece is secured on by the elastic. Blue circle lenses were used to achieve her shoujo look, and my mirror was an antique mirror painted to fit the image of Michiru's.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was a challenge for me, but turned out amazingly! I will be changing my wig and obtaining shorter heels since they hurt so much!
