Construction Details:

This costume is made out of Kona cotton to make it a more comfortable costume in Florida. I modified a pattern for the top by elongating the sleeves and making the bottom more pronounced. I used heavy interfacing for the colors and sleeve cuffs. For the light blue section I bonded the 2 together and then satin stitched it onto the dark blue. I used satin stitching for the pockets as well. For the belt and strap I ordered 2 mens belts off amazon and modified them. I made the pouch out of some heavy matte vinyl. For the hat I made it out of craft foam and then covered it in fabric. I then used a base of a hat and cut it all off except for the ring around the head and glued the two together.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my favorite to wear because it is so widely recognized by so many different types of people.

Styling Notes

For the hair I got a bob and pack of long wefts in teal from Arda Wigs. I then cut the shape of her hair out on a piece of cardboards and glued the whole pack of wefts cut into the right lengths onto it. I added a hair clip so that I can take the hair on and off.
