Construction Details:

One of the most annoying parts of this cosplay has to be the purple and yellow trim. I did that using 2 different colours of ribbon, backing with some fusible interfacing. The most annoying part of it was having to go around curved edges.

I hand-painted all the flowers on the sleeves & obi and the green vines(?) on the chest. Tedious, but worth it!

My favourite cosplay of the year!
I fell in love with the whole look when I first saw the movie teaser and I had to make Umi's outfit ^^

Styling Notes

The looped hair was the best part of the cosplay! A small section of hair was braiding, looped twice, and secured with bobby pins.
