Construction Details:

We used a pattern for the gown and collar. There's a hoop skirt and petticoat underneath. I made the blue trim out of organza and added the sequins to the ruffle. I also made the pink roses out of organza. For the necklace, I used glass pearls, purple Swarovski crystals, a red flower charm for the sun, a moon charm, and a quartz charm for the center. (I wasn't being picky.) I just wore plain white slip on loafers for my shoes.

Personal Thoughts:

I had a lot of fun with this costume! I love ball gowns! I ran into a couple other Seylums in their gowns. I loved how each of us did something different with the colors!

Wig Review

Maybe not the best choice for this hair style. I think I'm going to get a braided headband and use that instead. I bought a long wig to get the lock of hair she has.
