Construction Details:

I took a red leather jacket, hacked off the sleeves, altered the collar, and used leather paint to create a burgundy gradient starting from the bottom. I made my bracers from scratch with leather scraps I had lying around; the zipper is functional and actually vital for getting them on and off. The dress was a lucky find. I gathered fabric just below the waist and I'm going to add polka dot fabric to the collar (I just bought some). The necklaces are a collection of pendants and stones I strung together. My socks are actually 2 layers, opaque tights that I distressed and cut into thigh highs, and sheer thigh highs.

Personal Thoughts:

I love this look. It's so wearable and cute! It has a River Tam meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer feel to it.
