Construction Details:

Fabrics are: Casa Satin, casa crepe satin using the back side. I used a basic princess seam and sweet heart neckline pattern for the bodice and added the collar like fold over with a satin stitched line of tan to match my darkest fabric. I drafted my own circle skirt over skirt as well as the white half-circle skirt under skirt. Horsehair braid keeps the skirts in that flowy shape. I hand-gathered all the ruffles. Creating the bows and tubes of fabric was the most time consuming part. My favorite part was gluing all the flowers on the dress and the accessories.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a group collaboration costume of Angel Hearts. We all shared our ideas on patterns and fabrics and each girl made their own costume. We even did a cosplay music video at Anime Expo 2015: https://youtu.be/SYtdQIRxlXQ
