Construction Details:

I began construction on the collar to begin the project. I soldered a wire frame together and fit a fosshape form to it. I made the tubes for the collar ruffles and hand sewed them onto the fossshape. I covered the back of the collar with a fabric similar to what I imagine the character would wear. I used creative freedom on the back of the costume as well as the legs since they are not shown in the official Sakizou Art image. Next I tackled the underbust. I printed a pattern from instructables and modified it to suit my needs. I created the bustle and bra by freehanding a pattern and altering it until it fit properly. I constructed the whip from leather and a dowel rod.

Personal Thoughts:

This is a great introduction level Sakizou to introduce some of the costume construction techniques you will need in more advanced versions.

Styling Notes

Out of the package, the wig was straight, but was rated as heat resistant. I used hairspray, a curling wand, and a black washcloth (for the bouffant) to style it.

Wig Review

As all long wigs do, it can get frizzy. To tame it I use olive oil sheen and hairspray.
