Construction Details:

We found a beautiful Regency inspired fan-art of all the Disney princesses, however it was hard to see all of the dresses. Cinderella was sitting behind another, so beyond the color scheme and some basic details, I was free to do what I liked. I aimed to merge together the traditional design details of the Cinderella costume and the style of the Regency-era. The final result wasn't as horrible as I thought it was going to be. However if I ever re-wear this costume it will need a complete overhaul (or maybe just a re-do). While I enjoyed the experience of it, there are a lot of improvements I would like to make.

Personal Thoughts:

Let me tell you my life-long of Cinderella. She was my favorite princess so whenever I see a special design with her I am immediately drawn to it. I also want to experiment in historical costuming, so this was a big bonus.
