Construction Details:

Circle skirt on a circle skirt, lined with a circle skirt. I think about 8 yards of black make up the bottom layer and then 4 yellow on that. I used an older bodice pattern I had from a ren fair costume years ago, and modified it for the top. Everything is lined, trim has mitered corners, lace and beaded details on the front of the bodice, and 6 black roses. The only thing I didn't make for this was I am wearing black capri pants under the dress for a part in the skit. I slip off the skirt for my Len to wear. The cape we used in the skit was actually the duster from my Synchronicity Len.

Personal Thoughts:

I have wanted to do this for years! 2014 was all about finishing projects started, or crossing things off the bucket list. My friend and I made these for the Connecticon 2014 Masquerade.

Wig Review

I used 2 wigs for this. Arda when I am alone, and for on stage I used a different wig because it matched my partners color better. She did not like her costume so only wore it onstage.
