Construction Details:

Found a red quilting cotton with a perfect subtle feather-like print and made a men's yukata using a variety of online tutorials/layouts of kimono patterns -- all seams are French seamed and all hems double turned for longevity of the garment. The ovals are white cotton sateen appliquéd and satin-stitched on. The obi is interfaced quilting cotton, and it too has a subtle feather print. The pants are muslin from a pajama pants pattern with elastic bands at the hems and the tabi were made from a pair of tan knee-length socks. The geta were purchased on eBay. Beni's signature necklace is a combination of ping pong balls and a foam ball I got at the dollar store attached to a sword tassel I found on eBay using some apoxie sculpt.

I'm really confused as to how he stole my heart as much as or more than the rest of those fools. But he's small and grumpy and blunt and pretty much the best.
