About this Costume
Construction Details:
The swimsuit was made from layers of pink stretch knit and black milliskin surged together. The top was a sports bra with the striped fabric hand stitched to it.

The same pink and black stretch knit was also surged into larger stripes to make the stockings and the puffy sleeve parts (they're supposed to be inflatable but fuck that).

The puffy parts were strips of the large striped fabric sewn into a tube, stuffed, and hand stitched to the knit half-shirt's sleeves. The star was ironed on with Heat 'n' Bond.

The gloves were black milliskin I had to hand sew because my machine kept eating it, with the pink stars Heat 'n' Bonded on.

The shorts were thrifted and cut to the right length, though i'd like to go back and fray them before I wear them next.

The belt was provided by Vintage-Aerith, and she also made the fish belt accessory out of craft foam.

The boots were Vintage-Aerith's chunky shoes with stretch-vinyl boot covers made, and the studs were papercraft, spray-painted and attached by Vintage-Aerith.

The hat was patterned and made by Vintage-Aerith out of felt with the same pink fabric added, and the necklace was a convenient anchor-shaped bottle opener I borrowed from her! The earrings were fish charms that we clipped onto an earring base. Our swords were party city swords, spray painted a proper silver with correctly colored ribbon wrapped around.

It was all really simple, just really tedious, especially sewing those stripes, my goodness.
Personal Thoughts:
SUCH A FUN COSTUME

Wig Review
Wig was great, but it had a lot of fly-aways unfortunately, but that comes with working with wigs I think.
