Construction Details:

This was overall pretty easy to pattern out, it was just tricky figuring out exactly how long I wanted the shirt and where the skirt waist should sit. The skirt has a weird inside waistband since all of the art of the girls shows NO waistband. Half of the ruffles I made by hand and half were bought pre-made ruffles (that are admittedly too white for the shirt fabric but oh well). I for some reason made the suspenders out of vinyl and while one came out ok the second I just could not get to work. I almost ditched them but they match my cute gloves (which were purchased). The bows I made using leet skills I picked up doing several sailor fukus with Sparklepipsi the bow master.

Personal Thoughts:

Because I can't get enough aidorus. Maki quickly became one of my favorite anime characters ever, and is definitely one I relate to very much. Super excited to represent Love Live at Anime Expo this summer!
