Construction Details:

I used Simplicity 1728 for the bodice. I wasn't entirely happy with the fitting, I may remake it. I originally was going to make a dress, which is what I thought the pattern was, but it ended up being a skirt and bodice. I also debated wearing the bodice on top vs. skirt on top. Both looked ok. I used directions for a bubble skirt I found online and made it 2 layers for extra lumps. I made the entire dress from broadcloth.

Personal Thoughts:

Things I like:
-The skirt! I love the bubble skirt.
-The tights were great, super opaque.
-The sleeves.

Things I want to change:
-I might remake the bodice. It should be tailored differently.
-I want to get a new wig. I styled this one from a straight wig, and I think I'd rather order one already styled
-Better makeup. I've never applied makeup over body paint, and had no idea what I was doing.
