Also the dress pattern is a circle skirt with a bodice top that comes down below the breastplate. My body type didn't like the original thin skirt look.

Personal Thoughts:

Cordelia was a challenge! Her costume is a hot mess of discomfort. I had seen others dress as her, and do it so well. But, there were a few things to consider with me:
1. I was going to a con alone, with no handler or friends to be with me. So, I made the neck piece lower, and made the breastplate disconnect from the shoulders so I could move easier. Same for the arms/hands.
2. I was going to be in the hot, swampy, south in summer. So, I wanted to be able to breathe a bit better. I have no regrets.

Also, I don't know what I did with the bottom of the breastplate with that stupid emblem. It's not canon, or referenced in any art, or anything. I just made it, botched it, and it was too late to turn back, so I had to integrate it into the costume. If, at any time I can go back and remove that sucker, I will.


The hair wings weren't as well made as they could have been. I think they lasted 5 minutes in the photos.
