Construction Details:

jacket and pants made by Jubei. The 95 and lightning bolts are hand painted for the gradient effect. The front Rust-eze patch is hand made. Since the jacket is front closure, the patch was made in two parts and carefully aligned. Basically, if its on the jacket or pants its stenciled, cut, and appliqued. Lightning's signature on the pant leg was a monster to do, but worth it in the end.

Personal Thoughts:

Speed. I am speed. Had fun working with Jubei on our Cars costumes. We really wanted to create a fun and comfortable racing uniform. Watching the movies over and over let us find new aspects of Lightning each watch through. Ka-Chow!
