Construction Details:

This costume was made almost entirely of materials I already had laying around. The blue satin for the cape was purchased in 2008 for a Belldandy remake that never happened, the black spandex was leftover from Black Cat, and the armor is all made with foam from my collection. The wig is my Ms. Marvel wig. I only had to purchase a yard of silver spandex and borrow a sword from a friend!

The cape was the most difficult element to construct of this otherwise easy costume. To give the cape the movie-inspired silhouette, I created a U-shaped structure worn on the shoulders cut out of an old carpet rug that I wrapped in fleece for comfort. My goal was to spend as little cash as possible on this costume, and the rug was something I had laying around that was destined for the trash due to water damage. It actually worked out pretty darn well for a completely MacGuyver'd costume bit! XD
