Construction Details:

Made the gakuran using the McCall's Civil War pattern and the more I use commercial patterns the more I feel I should just draft everything myself.
I used green twill for the gakuran and pants and white peachskin for the lining.
Overall it wasn't difficult, but was a little time consuming.

Styling Notes

Shout out to mahoukuma for helping me style my noodle in the hotel room. I sewed short wefts into a short wig, which was again easy but time consuming. In the hotel room, Olivia and I worked together to iron the wefts using the iron (shout out to heat resistant wigs) and then curl the hair around my curling iron while it wasn't hot.

Next time I'll probably curl the noodle differently to make the curl a little tighter.
