Dupioni silk and satin lined skirt with a sequin net overlay and feather accent. The modesty panel and trim are lined with rhinestones and crystals. Shawl and cape are made of over 3000 goose, ostrich, turkey, and paper feathers. The cape is lined with 12gauge wire to help bend into various shapes. Choker and belts made of worbla and connected with magnets. Wig contains over 10 ft of EL tape and LED wire. Wig also holds battery packs mountained to back of EL tape and a Bluetooth enabled speaker.

For convenience sake: a pouch was installed in the back of the shawl to store a spare pair of shoes. There are additional side pouches near the arms to hold my cell phone and other small items. This also adds extra volume to the overall appearance.-

I love making costumes of horrible people...Ragyo definitely fits.

I wanted the costume to shine as much as possible. I used the sequin mesh overlay so that it represents the shining life fibers that encompasses Ragyo. The wig lights up from the front with EL tape and from the back with LED string lights shining through the various wefts as well as additional EL tape. The batteries are all stored within the wig and wires are velcroed out of sight. Changes since the most recent photo include re shaping the wig, re painting the el tape, adding more wefts in the front lateral bangs as well as reworking all the EL tape to hide the black base. The dress has also been altered slightly to increase the proportion of skirt to feathers.

Since we were asked to make sure our outfits are accident proof, I use open chest binding in addition to top stick attaching the dress to my skin. I've also created notches in the belt to secure the halter top portion.

Styling Notes

Received help Yo-san EL tape mounted to foam board glued on to wig. Additional board added to the back to give a 3D shape and hide battery packs. Extra wefts added for extra coverage and volume.
