About this Costume
Construction Details:
The dress is made from stretch cotton sateen, the collar piece is 2 way stretch gold spandex and the black star detail is black PVC heat n' bonded on. The wings on the collar flap are matte white PVC and attached in the same way. The insets of the box pleats are sparkle casa satin. rnrnThe cuffs are made with the same white sateen and have a painted gold heart button sewn on and are kept in place with snaps on the inside.rnrnThe bones are attached via snaps are are made from two layers of craft foam covered in worbla and spray painted gold.rnrnThe hat is a shako (marching band hat) I built up with fosshape and is covered with white matte PVC. The trim is the same gold spandex as the collar and is glued in place. The star details on the sides are plastidip sealed craft foam pieces painted gold. The skull is a christmas ornament covered in model magic and paper clay, there is a doubled over piece of jewelry wire to hold the "plume" uprnrnThe boot covers I made are very ...special. I'm really happy with how they turned out but I made them in the most backwards way possible. I used the same white stretch vinyl as the other pieces of the costume. The top hem has a facing to give a clean edge and the facing continues along the sides of the outside part of the boot to allow for the grommets to be put in. The straps are painted elastic. that is hand stitched down. Its glued on top of a base boot.

The mace is an actual drum major's mace that is painted gold, the cording is done in a standard wrapping method for maces and the tassel was made by me usings white embroidery floss
Personal Thoughts:
I love my little pink psycho band geek (because thats actually me in real life)
