Construction Details:

Sailor Neptune is the first of many Scouts I hope to cosplay! Therefore, she was my main "trial and error" version, so in newer versions that I've already begun, I've changed some things and figured out how to do them easier and more expeditiously.



All material used is spandex. The skirt is permanently attached, with separate bottoms. I mean, I'd like to go to the bathroom in this costume, and there's no real reason to make the leotard one whole unit when the collar is permanently attached anyways. XD Oh, speaking of collar, I TRIED to make the collar reversible so I could swap between basic Sailor Neptune and Super Sailor Neptune. It actually almost worked, but was more effort than I care to do again, so I'll just stick to mostly Super Sailor Scouts from here on out when I make some more. XD

Personal Thoughts:

For my Sailor Neptune, I melded some costume elements from the anime with the manga, with details being more weighted towards the manga (longer gloves, gem on choker, wraps higher up on ankle). I also decided to make the back bow more billowy like Super Sailor Moon's, because I love how that looks. The skirt is also more flowy like in the manga, rather than harshly pleated as it appears in the anime.<br />

Styling Notes

Tried to puff up and part the bangs. It sort of worked, but Got2Be inevitably will all come out, so I need to touch it up again.

Wig Review

Love the color and the texture of it. However, would be better if I could find a center parted Neptune wig with longer bangs.
