Construction Details:

I can officially say that this is one of the first costumes, I have ever bled for in my years of construction.
Everything was sewn nothing except the patches were bought for the actual outfit. ( Not counting the white pants and top either)

The jacket was made out of costume pleather, the buttons were hand sewn in that are on the jacket.

Decided to take a different approach with the cape, and wanted to make sure I had that flowy effect for when the wind hits.

And right now what's not pictured is the 3D gear/ straps.
The straps were also made out of costume pleather, double sided. And manually somehow figured out the premise of the straps and sewed it togther after working out in long strips.

And the 3D gear, was orginally made by my group of freinds, but right now followed the manga version.
And went back to reinforce the boxes to adding a a middle strap in the middle of the inside to make ALL the 12 blades.
And then, made the handle interchangeable with all the blades.
The gear was not a one person project it took a couple of us to figure it out and I couldn't have done that without them.

As well having the anime version of the 3D gear.

Personal Thoughts:

I originally started out, just planning to make Erwin Smith.
But due to a costume having issues at last moment, I realized I could also do Bertholt.
And He kind of wound up inching his way into my heart as a character.
Looking forward to being able to wear him again, for next year conventions with a Reiner and a Annie.
