Construction Details:

The dress and bow were made from knit. The bag was from the closest orange twill I could find. The shoes, Jiji, headband, and broom were store bought. I wanted to make my own broom but I was unable to finish making it in time so I just have some crappy dollar store decoration broom as a prop. My favorite part to this cosplay besides the bow is my little Jiji. I just think he ties it all together :)

Personal Thoughts:

The last time I cosplayed was 2008. When I began sewing again in 2010 I knew that I wanted to cosplay again when the time was right. Kiki’s Delivery Service is a special movie to me for my own personal reasons, so I decided to cosplay Kiki for Halloween. Aside from material gathering, this was a very quick costume to whip up. The hardest part of the dress was just hemming and even that was easy.
