Construction Details:

The Jackets were super challenging, especially sailor saturns.
I actually ended up using rubber balls as a base ans the popping them and re-stuffing them with foam to secure the shape.
The pattern of the sleeves itself is a mess of complicated darts, it looks like a weird exploding star with gashes laid out.
The entire jacket is interfaced with hair canvas and then bottom hem has additional horse hair to give it extra body and flare.
The piece on the front is silk taffeta and the main body of the coat is wool.
