About this Costume
Construction Details:
This was rather challenging, even though the wig was the most difficult. Sewing the skirt and the shirt weren't difficult. I just added two layers of golden trim to it and used black fabric paint to make the border more visible. All the jewelry parts are foam rubber covered with golden fake leather. All the lines are just sewn on.
The crown thingy is done with foam rubber as a base, covered with papermachee and modeled with air drying modeling clay. The millenium puzzle is done like the tiara.
Draping the cape nicely was a lot of work as well and it's hand stitched to hold together in a nice way.
Personal Thoughts:
I always loved the pharaoh but I was too scared to cosplay as him because of his ridiculous hair. When I finally managed to do the wig to my satisfaction, I started working on this outfit because I didn't find nice purple fabric for his usual cape. I like the colors of this version a lot, even though I was a little unsure because of the red of the cape and his pink hair.

Styling Notes
The wig consists of 2 wigs, one black and one blonde. I added some more wefts to the black base wig to make it fuller and to be able to style it nicely. The black hair was parted and where the front star was going I added some pink wefts to the side as well as to every middle of each star-spike. Styled and cut the whole thing, then added the front of the blonde wig to get the bangs. Added some more wefts for the power streaks in the front and year, that's it. A lot of Sewing and a bottle of hairspray went into this wig.
