About this Costume
Construction Details:
Majority of the costume was made in 3 days. It was a bad idea. It isn't the worst thing I've made, but definitely not "good"

Wig: 3 hours, no previous styling experience. I went with a darker wig to work better with my skin tone. I started with a New Look Godiva, and tied it in pigtails. Each ponytail holding the pigtail was sewn into the wig, and then covered using more hair. The bangs were styled using curlers and steam.

Dress: The sleeves are detachable for ease of movement.

Petals and bloomers: I made each separate petal out of sheer fabric and attached them to the bodice. The bloomers were just a long rectangle gathered with elastic. The bloomers were super short so I wore dance tights underneath for just incase-ies

Shoes: The shoes are my first shoe covers attached directly to a pair of shoes. Shoes are from payless, covered with scrap black fabric, stuffed to look like elf shoes, and lined with leftover red bias tape.

Accessories: Well half of them are missing. I pretty much pulled it out of my butt. I tied the rope, then hotglued a snap to one side of the knot, and to the rope "flower." I then glued a paper flower to the rope flower.

The head piece is made from foam, paper flowers, and trim. The "gems" are fish tank rocks. As i was finishing this costume a few hours before the photoshoot, I totally forgot the hair ornaments on the headpiece..
Personal Thoughts:
Some missing details due to rushing to complete in 3 days with not much sewing experience. Something I'd like to remake one day
