Construction Details:

This cosplay was a lot of 1 step forward 2 steps back. I messed up the top and the lavender skirt and had to start all over at one point. The original top technically isn't unwearable or anything but it was made before some critical design changes had to be implemented and I realized a straight bottom would not work.

I wanted to put something over my shoulders, either pearl swag a la Mistress 9 or attempt to recreate Saturn's petal-like sleeves on her normal form but due to time and worrying it wouldn't look right, I bailed on the idea. It may happen later though. I've got to find different shoes before I attempt to wear this again.

Personal Thoughts:

This was a lot of fun to do, I just wish I had more pictures. There were 4 of us but Venus had to run before this picture was taken.

This group happened by accident but it was a good accident. During a meetup in 2012, Mars and I were talking to Moon about future cosplay projects. I had just finished my sketches of Steampunk Saturn and said that was what I was doing. She looked at me and said "Are you kidding? Because I've been designing a Steampunk Moon and I was thinking about trying to get a group together." So we suddenly had our group. Mars found our Venus after Youmacon 2012. Hers was designed completely independent of the others. We didn't get to walk around Anime Central for that long together but Mars and I were at the Sailor Moon shoot Saturday morning.

We're hoping to get more people in on it. One of our roommates from ACen is interested in doing a Steampunk Luna or Jupiter.
