Construction Details:

I assembled Bellows and Pinion in a week. Chris and I decided two weeks before the con that we were going to make Bellows and Pinion and purchased as much as we could before hand I sewed everything the week before Anext. The top and shorts were dyed with Rit Dye. The pocketed belt includes dungaree buttons and side piping. The buckle is made of sculpey. I copied a pair of denim shorts to create a pattern for Bellows, then shortened the inseam. There is no waistband, instead I used wide bias tape to make a facing. I didn't have time to make or wait on shipping for the gloves so I skipped those.

Purchased the earrings, hair beads, and boots.

I don't know what other details to include so I will leave it at that.

Personal Thoughts:

I am watching Suisei no Gargantia religiously every week and it KILLS me that the episodes aren't longer! Bellows is really cool and has a spiffy red ponytail to boot! The relationship between Pinion in Bellows is really interesting and fun to watch~

Wig Review

I removed 1.25" from each side of the wig circumference to fit my tiny head. I removed the excess above the eartabs, otherwise my ears would be completely covered. I used the wefts cut out from the process to patch any bald spots remaining. I followed up by sewing two weft clips an inch away from the hairline to stabilize the weight of the ponytail.
