About this Costume
Construction Details:
Blouse: took apart an old button down blouse and tried to mimic the pattern. I saved the collar and then hand embroidered the crosses along it. Given the time, I would like to go over the print and make the stripes much more accurate.
Cuffs: Super duper interfaced rectangles with embroidery and buttons. I'm not sure if I'm slow or if it's something else, but each cuff took me one day's worth of work ahhaaaa
Apron: Used Love Cos' apron pattern but it doesnt seem to play nice with skirt volume which is weird. The flower pattern is freehanded with a white colored pencil.
Skirt: Stated out as like a 3/4 circle skirt but I brought it down a bit and now it is just weird.
Personal Thoughts:
I've loved this variant of sakuya for a really long time. But DEM LEGS have prevented me from actually attempting the project. I have had the striped material for a few years and I decided to start it one day out of boredom.
There is also this one artwork that shows Sakuya with a rapier and its pretty darn cool. I threw on my synchronicity cape and sword and did a pretty ghetto crossover but its super fun!

Wig Review
As always I'm a huge fan of Arda. The base wig is an Inigo and I took apart a ponytail clip and braided those to make the braids however I ended up liking them long but arughhh not canon I know
