Construction Details:

The main body of the cloak was probably the easiest part. The collar, capelet was tricky due to how it wrapped and sat. I had to take it in several times which made it look funny at some angles. The jacket gave me the worse headache imaginable! Its fully lined and made with a wool blend which frayed like no ones business! I had to cut and sew also instantly and do a poor mans serge in most places to avoid fraying through my seams. >.< Nightmare! The applique was probably my favorite part about the whole thing. It turned out really well.
Defiantly learned what not to do for next time!

Personal Thoughts:

I LOVE this costume! I had always wanted to make it but never had the opportunity. Than one day, as a last minute costume for Sakura Con I pulled it all together. The sewing job isn't the greatest but it all turned out so well and I think it looks great in pictures.
