Construction Details:

This dress was loosely based on a pattern I had already modified for a different cosplay. I just further modified it to make Dany's dress with the cape and technically being backless.

The fabric is a wrinkle light dress satin that I hand painted the gold pattern onto. The gold accessories are vinyl all handcut out. I meticulously found beads to make as closely to the original dress in the show as possible because I am crazy.

Personal Thoughts:

I love Game of Thrones. And I love all the freakin costumes. This is one of many costumes I would love to make from the show. Game of Thrones, all the time. This was worn during NYCC 2012 with my friend who also loves Dany a whole lot. We had a lot of fun and I would happily wear this again.
