Construction Details:

This was a pretty simple costume to make and it's mostly made out of rectangle shapes. The pants go to the knee (to keep Sara from getting too hot) and are made from some sort of bottomweight cotton material. The undershirt is made from red cotton with black bias tape details at the neck and cuffs. The overshirt is made from Casa satin with gold bias tape details. The waist band is made out of Casa satin and the sash is a green taffeta with hand painted details. The fan is made from a piece of colored poster board and some electric tape.

Personal Thoughts:

Costume made for my cosplay teammate Sara. Sara styled her own wig, made her own earrings, and painted her green sash.
