Construction Details:

This costume came together in a single weekend, which I never ever want to do again (lack of sleep is no bueno) However, I am pretty pleased with the results, and wearing them was most fun.

standard pleated skirt and standard top made. added piping to the top and my broach is lit up by four LED's. The battery pack goes inside a hole I made behind the broach and clips on to some spandex shorts I wear underneath.
the black sash laces up and my boots are spray painted then added trim with craft foam.
My skirt also has trim on the bottom done by a green beaded trim found in the home decor section.
