Construction Details:

This costume was a joint effort between myself and my cosplay teammate Sara. Sara figured out the base fin and I patterned out the tail and fins.

The tail is a walking tail, which means there's a zipper in the back from the top of her ankles to the backs of her knees, so she can unzip it to shuffle around. The base of the tail is made from holographic spandex and the fins are all made from glissinet and plastic tubing. The base fin has wire in it, which allowed Sara to shape it and provided extra stability.

Costume made for/with my cosplay teammate Sara. Sara styled the wig and made her own necklace.
