Construction Details:

Basically, the pants are vinyl, the undershirt is a matte leatherlook spandex, and the armor is craftfoam covered in vinyl. I wanted a metallic sheen but different variations to distinguish the pieces. I attached dome snaps for a bolt like effect down the seams of my armor and pants.

I think makeup was pretty important to the costume, for my face makeup I used Mehron Metallic Powder with mixing liquid which made me actually metallic. I dimmed down the shine by powdering over it with Mehron’s Starblend Cake Makeup in Light grey. I drew the lines on with a dark ben nye grey I had ling around drawing them down both my face and neck to connect like panels sort of. I spirit gummed on the same snaps as used on my costume down my face.
