About this Costume
Construction Details:
For the first time I wore him, I did it as a super last minute (assembled in less than two hours) costume. Hemming the shirt was simple enough, though I didn't have anything to do the trim in, s I left it out. I didn't have any pants for him, so I made "ghetto harem pants" out of a large of XL womens' slacks, by taking the crotch and inside legs apart, and restitching the crotch lower down.

For the MegaCon re-wear, I used a different shirt, and basically had to deconstruct and reconstruct it to get it to fit more snug without any weird pulls. I added the gold trim, after several hours of fighting with my machine and the fabric.
I remade the wand (only for it to break early on, and then vanish by the end of the day) using the same red transparencies that I used for my GARLock Simon star-shades for the gem, re-enforced with a small resin pyramid on the inside.
I ordered real harem pants for this wear, and remade his wrap.
Personal Thoughts:
Before I had even started reading or watching Magi, a lot of my friends had told me that I should cosplay Judar, after I watch/read Magi.
I was really surprised how fast I fell in love with the series, reading it all before watching the anime. It's slowly becoming the 2013 "Cosplay Everything From It" series for me.

Styling Notes
I didn't like the size or length of the original ponytail, so I used several packages of loose Kanekalon extensions and built the ponytail up around the pre-existing ponytail. I was able to make the beads larger by layering the extensions up, and gathering them up into the shape before tying them off.
