Construction Details:

I created my own patterns for this based off my own clothes and guessing. I think it's pretty good for my first attempt at making a pattern XD though the bloomer shorts are not too comfortable, and the sleeves are a bit too tight.

The Uzi was bought, as was the basket, flowers, butterfly, apple and dog. I made the Molotov cocktail simply by taking a bottle of bear and wrapping tissue paper up and stick it in. I didn't have a knife and I was missing a few other weapons that I hope to make or have for the next time!

I also got to meet up with Starlightslk and pose for some pictures with her and talk about our Darkstalkers love. I hope to do a better shoot one day in B.B. Hood with fellow darkstalkers ;D

Personal Thoughts:

I really enjoy Darkstalkers and it's characters! So when it came to deciding a PAX costume, I knew what I wanted to do! At first I considered female Anakaris, my personal favorite darkstalker. But then I thought about it and was like "NO. B.B.HOOD" and so the B.B. Hood cosplay was born. I was super happy it was well recieved and people knew who I was. I did LT3's cosplay contest at Madcatz booth and was in the top 3~ :D I also got praise from a bunch of the pro fighting game players, played Mike Ross in Dive Kick as B.B. Hood & got a shout out at a panel from James Chen about it. Pretty good day!

Styling Notes

The wig was strangly kinky when I got it and the front part looked like my hair when I first wake up! I did some trimming & razoring, straightened the kinks out of the bangs, blew dry the bangs, cut and straightened the front piece and styled them to slightly curl forward.
