Construction Details:

A pretty simple costume! The socks and shorts were purchased. The decal on the shirt was done with dark iron on transfer. I crafted the lollipop from a flat circular ornament I'd found at Michaels, which I painted and hot glued to a short wooden dowel I had. I covered the lollipop with a plastic baggy to make it look like it was wrapped, then tied a ribbon on the bottom and glued a clip to the whole thing to attach it into my wig. I painted my shoes the proper color from an existing pair I had.

Personal Thoughts:

I'd been wanting to cosplay Trickster!John for a while and Otakon seemed like the perfect place to wear such a cute, light outfit! I had a lot of fun wearing this, and I definitely want to bring it out again!

Styling Notes

I chose this wig because the color was the perfect blend of unnatural yellow without being too harsh. The wig itself had a natural flip to it, perfect for John, so I just trimmed it up in the back, shaped it in the front and added the little flip at the top!
