About this Costume
Construction Details:
I could swear on a stack of pancakes Ragna made me cry and bleed on him. If anybody even looked closely they could find the blood on the sleeve where I bled. Its not even covered by the vinyl lol.

I would say at most Ragna pants and inside shirt took me about a week....its his JACKET, that really killed me. I did not expect it to take me about a month and a half to even get it complete. I AM wearing red and green contacts, but the lighting made it difficult to see the green. But if you look closely, its there.

The shoulders are padded because..well..I'm a girl, I don't have broad shoulders lol. Some places I bs'd and tried to cover up. For the most part, this was made out of polyester fabric. Boot covers were made by me as well and they were not glued to the base of the shoe.

The sword...oh man, what can I say about the sword....it was made in 2 days before the con. The white blade as you see is made out of insilation foam and 4 layers of gesso before the white paint was applied on. The black was made from a half inch plywood and the red stuff? You guessed it, pvc pipes. The way I attatched it to the blade was my friend and I actually cut some openings on the blade and shoved it in there. It actually stays pretty well. The handle I sandwiched whatever insilation foam I had left and shaped it from there. Its not finished obviously since I still need to do the details. But I'm pretty happy about it, its very light but I can't hold it above my shoulder with one hand more then 3 minutes or my arm gets sore XD. Many thanks goes to my friend Nyoko for assisting me with the massive sword. I could not have done it without her.
